The bioresource challenge – A broader view on sustainable bioenergy systems coupled with substantial applications

Edited by: Prof. Ina Körner, Prof. Michael Narodoslawsky

This Thematic Series is supposed to provide readers from research, the private and political sector with unique focused information, covering issues around bioresources and their key role in providing sustainable bioenergy and substantial products. In order to avoid competitions, e.g. regarding land use, a focus is laid on the utilization of agricultural, municipal and industrial residues as well as wastes and wastewaters. Beside innovations around core technologies such as biogas production, multibranch and cascade utilizations of bioresource feedstocks are of concern. Also influences and challenges in regard to the system integration and evaluation of potential environmental impacts on a regional scale are of special interest.
