Special Issue of the 7th International Workshop on Complex Networks

The last decades have seen the emergence of Complex Networks as the language with which a wide range of complex phenomena in fields as diverse as Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Biology, Medicine, Economics, and many more can be properly described and understood. Starting in the 1990s, the possibility of accessing, storing, and handling large datasets has opened up new research questions. Network Science has harnessed this unprecedented opportunity to become an interdisciplinary field, enabling knowledge from and applications to all fields of human endeavour. This special issue provides a perspective on the state-of-the-art in this dynamic field and covers a variety of topics, including but not limited to: network structure, network controllability, online behavior, recommendation systems, and network dynamics.
