Responsible Leadership in Times of Transformation

The importance and prominence of Corporate Social Responsibility across industries and cultures is increasingly shaping corporations' conceptions of themselves and their role in society. Our world becomes rapidly more complex and uncertain. This requires us to take the sustainability debate beyond moralizing but towards the promotion of a holistic approach able to reshape businesses and institutions. 

In order to drive the transformation towards sustainability as the "new normal", it needs a new generation of managers and leaders. This special issue seeks to encourage a broad, encompassing conversation to explore how sustainable development and sustainable business will transform in a global context, as well as how a new generation of responsible leaders can be empowered to shape a more sustainable future for a global community.
