Quantum internet allows the transmission of large volumes of data at a rate that even exceeds the speed of light. Also, the physical infrastructure needed for quantum internet is built with quantum repeaters and memory and repeaters that store the qubit's quantum state and swap it with another photon through teleportation. Too, quantum repeaters propel and amplify photons before they degrade. On the other hand, quantum measurement devices are needed for assessing the entangled state's generation within quantum nodes through heralding techniques complying with communication during quantum teleportation. Apart from that, Quantum networks linking three quantum devices through quantum entanglement enable three networked devices and users to communicate privately. Importantly, quantum internet with advanced protocols and methods allows quantum computing services like blind and cloud computing and Artificial quantum intelligence. Hence without a quantum internet connection supported with quantum devices and routers can play a pivotal role in changing the future of communication systems.

Deadline: 1 November, 2022

Please refer to the journal’s Submission Guidelines for the preparation of the manuscript.

Important: Upon submission please select the appropriate article type (i.e. Research, Review, Comment or Brief Report) and the special issue from the "Collection" drop-down menu under the "Details" tab.The guest editors will oversee the editorial process. Accepted articles are published open access and automatically assigned to a volume and issue after the proofs are corrected. They will be accessible through the regular volume and issue, as well as collected online under their specific special issue tab.
