The thematic series “7-tesla neuro MRI: from research to clinic” is currently open for further submissions on this topic. The guest editors, Luca Roccatagliata (Genoa/Italy) and Mirco Cosottini (Pisa/Italy), are looking forward to receiving your contribution.


The last twenty years have brought significant improvement in the field of ultra-high-field (UHF) magnetic resonance, turning UHF imaging into an exceptional tool for the study of the human brain. A growing presence of 7-tesla MR systems has opened the door for the use of UFH neuroimaging in both research and clinical applications. This thematic series focuses on describing the state of the art of UHF-MRI neuroimaging studies across different pathologies, as well as related clinical applications.
