About the collection

Coagulation and Hemostatic Disorders in Critical Illnesses aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the latest research, clinical practices, and emerging therapies related to coagulation and hemostatic disorders in critically ill patients. The focus will be on the pathophysiology, diagnosis, and management of coagulation abnormalities in various critical care settings, including sepsis, trauma, liver disease, and COVID-19. This collection seeks to equip critical care physicians with the knowledge and tools necessary to improve patient outcomes through evidence-based approaches to managing these complex disorders.

Articles will undergo the journal’s standard peer-review process and are subject to all of the journal’s standard policies. Articles will be added to the Collection as they are published.

The Guest Editors have no competing interests with the submissions which they handle through the peer review process. The peer review of any submissions for which the Guest Editors have competing interests is handled by another Editorial Board Member who has no competing interests.
