The Brocher Foundation workshop on “Data protection in an era of consumer-targeted genome sequencing” discussed data protection and direct-to-consumer testing in relation to genome sequencing. The symposium brought together legal specialists in Data Protection and social science experts, aiming at informing discussions on all aspects of data protection and direct-to-consumer genetic testing: legal, ethical, and social.
