Low Latency Issues in Cellular Communications

This special issue of the EURASIP Journal on Wireless Communications and Networking is intended to present recent developments in cellular communications and in particular latency improvement technologies. The issue extends a special session in EURASIP 2012 devoted to improvements of latency aspects in cellular networks in LTE and LTE-A networks, including meshed topologies as well.
