Professor William Jo works for Department of Physics. He majors in applied physics and nano-physics. He got B.S., M.S., and Ph D. from Seoul National University. He worked in LG Electronics Research Center and Stanford University. He served for the Korean Physical Society as a conference secretary, general secretary, policy chair (vice-president), and chair of applied physics division. His current research topics are compound semiconductor solar cells, organic-inorganic perovskite solar cells, 2-D materials and functional oxides.
NANO KOREA Symposium, the Korea’s largest symposium on the nanoscale science and technology, is meaningful occasion to confirm major research results and up-to-date research trends in Korea and overseas. NANO KOREA 2024 Symposium which was held from July 3rd to 5th, 2024 in KINTEX, Korea, is consisted of advanced programs along with the main theme of ‘Invisible Nano Realizes the Future’. The symposium programs will cover all aspects of nanoscience and nanotechnology such as Nano Energy Harvesting, Nanotechnology for Carbon Neutrality, Nanotechnology for the Next Generation Energy Storage, Nanobiotechnology, Nanomedicine, Nanoelectronic Devices and Neuromorphic Devices, Nanophotonics, Nano Metrology & Characterization, Nano-EHS and Standardization of Nanotechnology, Materials Modeling and Data Science for NT, Nanotechnologies for Next Generation Sensors. NANO KOREA Symposium 2024 Special Issue will contain research results and the reviews about the most important and latest developments and future trends or visions for the convergence of various technologies from nano-to microscopic scale.
