Dr. Ahmed M. Elgarahy, PhD, Port Said University, Egypt
Dr. Ahmed Elgarahy is a Research Scientist with 15 years of experience in areas of environmental chemical engineering, environmental biotechnology, water environmental engineering, wastewater treatment, bioenergy, resources conversion, sustainable management, biomass valorization, food/plastic waste recycling, green fuel, carbon capture, and hydrogen production. He received his Ph.D. in Environmental Biotechnology (Water and Wastewater Treatment) from Port-Said University, Egypt in 2020. He has published over 65 articles in high ranked international journals. He has worked as a Co-Investigator with universities, an international technical trainer for several companies, and earned multiple project management certifications.
Dr. Abdullahi H. Birniwa, PhD, Sule Lamido University, Nigeria
Dr. Abdullah Haruna Birniwa is a Lecturer at Sule Lamido University, specializing in environmental chemical engineering, wastewater treatment, and polymer chemistry. His research spans dyes/heavy metals adsorption, resource recovery from food waste, and advancements in water treatment technologies using carbon nanotubes. Dr. Birniwa completed his Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry from the University of Malaya/BUK in 2019 and holds an MSc in Colour Chemistry from Bayero University, Kano in 2014. His work contributes to developing sustainable techniques for water purification and environmental protection, and his recent publications explore novel approaches to industrial effluent treatment, adsorption mechanisms, and biorefinery wastewater management.
