Global Change and Ecological Processes

Global change focus on planetary-scale climate changes in the Earth system. The global ecosystem consists of ecological processes on a large spatial scale of land and oceans. These constituent parts both in terms of space and processes interacting one another. The global change now influences not just on natural system, but also on human society, so global change can refer to large-scale changes in society, or changes in ecological processes of human society, which are also the emphases of this thematic series.
