Laboratory and field testing for landslide risk analysis

“Laboratory and field testing for landslide risk analysis” is a special issue dealing with the recent enhancements and trends for the laboratory and field investigations of geomaterials (soil, debris, rocks and boulders) involved in catastrophic landslides such as flowslides, debris flows, rockfalls, rockslides and and similar phenomena like lahars. The main topics will be represented by standard and advanced tests on REV (Representative Element Volume) specimens of soils and rocks, physical modelling in reduced-scale slopes and investigation in the field. The added value of soil/rocks should be highlighted in the framework of landslide analysis.
