Modelling of fast landslides

“Modelling of fast landslides” is a special issue dealing with the recent enhancements and trends for the modelling of fast landslides, which represent a major threat for exposed structures and populations. The principal topics of this special issue will relate to: initiation of slides, flowslides, debris flows, hypeconcentrated flows and similar phenomena like lahars; propagation of all these phenomena; deposition analysis with special reference to impacts on reservoirs and potential for landslide dam; physical modelling or experimental investigation.
