Post-Structural approaches to fisheries research

This thematic series brings together a set of articles broadly focused on post-structural approaches to fisheries issues. Post-structural approaches have made some important inroads in the field of maritime studies. Yet there is considerable potential for further analysis and intervention using a post-structural framing. This special issue provides a brief overview of post-structural approaches in fisheries research and presents 5 original papers from India, Sri Lanka, Canada and Norway. Our aim in this special issue is to provide the foundation for further work in the field of maritime studies using post-structural approaches.
