Journal of Patient-Reported Outcomes is calling for submissions to our Collection on Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement.

About the Collection

Journal of Patient-Reported Outcomes is calling for submissions to our Collection on Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement.

The purpose of this special issue is to provide the current evidence on Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) in Patient-Reported Outcome (PRO)-related research.

JPRO seeks articles that describe the involvement and engagement of patients, their families, and the public in PRO-related research. Relevant research encompasses the development of PRO measures and electronic PRO (ePRO) systems, and the implementation of PRO measures for healthcare research.

The guest editors invite original research, review articles (scoping/systematic/narrative), and brief communications which focus on:

(i) innovative methods and approaches to enhance PPIE in PRO-related research.

(ii) evaluation of the impacts of PPIE in PRO-related research.

(iii) Thought provoking commentaries on future directions for PPIE in PRO-related research are also welcome.

There are currently no articles in this collection.
