The goal of this special issue is to gather recent research contributions and advances in cooperative cognitive networks (CCNs). More specifically, this special issue aims at fostering innovative and significant research on the design, implementation, usage, and evaluation of CCNs. For submission, it is encouraged not only results and insights obtained from working implementations but also those obtained from simulations and theoretical analysis. This special issue will also bring together those leading researchers and developers in fields of system design, performance analysis and application/implementation of CCNs.
