Edited by: Dr. Thomas RW Herrmann and Dr. WG Robertson

With SpringerPlus as an open access platform, the Urology Collection presents a barrier-free extension to two Springer subscription journals: World Journal of Urology, where Thomas RW Herrmann is serving as Associate Editor, and Urolithiasis, where Dr. Robertson is the Editor-in-Chief.

Subject matters for this Collection include all fields of surgical and conservative urology, basic oncological and non-oncological research, and clinical and surgical aspects of the endourological removal or disintegration of urinary stones. Also considered are negative result studies, replication studies and meta-analyses, article types which are often not accepted in traditional scientific journals.

SpringerPlus holds an all-inclusive scope; if the Collection Editors consider your manuscript to be out of scope for the Collection, you may receive the option to be considered for publication in the general Medicine Section of SpringerPlus.

This Collection follows all SpringerPlus-wide publication policies, including stringent peer review.
