About the journal

Materials for Renewable and Sustainable Energy has been established as an open access journal to be the world's foremost interdisciplinary forum for publication of research on all aspects of the study of materials for the deployment of renewable and sustainable energy technologies. The journal covers experimental and theoretical aspects of materials and prototype devices for sustainable energy conversion, storage, and saving, together with materials needed for renewable fuel production.

  • Materials for Renewable and Sustainable Energy has been accepted for indexing by both ThomsonReuter’s Emerging Sources Citation Index, and Scopus. Impact Factor expected June 2017.
  • The article-processing charges (APCs) for best-selected papers will be fully (100%) or partially (50%) covered by our sponsorship agreement with the International Experts for Research Enrichment and Knowledge Exchange (IEREK). So, authors for these selected papers will not have to pay APCs as of 1st January 2022.
