About the collection

Functional Composite Materials is calling for submissions to our Collection on Frontiers in Nanostructured Polymers and Nanocomposites.

The 11th International Conference on Nanostructured Polymers and Nanocomposites (11th ECNP Conference) will be held 28-31 August 2023 in Lodz, Poland.

The 11th ECNP Conference is organized by Department of Molecular Physics  (DMP) from Faculty of Chemistry of Lodz University of Technology, in a frame of European Centre for Nanostructured Polymers (ECNP). DMP and ECNP, collaborating with Functional Composite Materials, publish a special collection of research work presented at the 11th ECNP Conference. The general theme of the collection is ‘Frontiers in Nanostructured Polymers and Nanocomposites’ reflecting the highlights of the 11th ECNP program.

We welcome the submission of research papers related but not limited to the scope and topics of the conference including:

  • progress in the synthesis and processing of polymer nanocomposites
  • graphene-based materials; polymers for biomedical and environmental applications
  • modeling of polymer synthesis and processing
  • advanced characterization techniques of polymer composites
  • printed and wearable organic electronics
  • industrial applications of multifunctional polymeric materials
  • ADL materials
