The Swiss Journal of Economics and Statistics is inviting submission for the collection SJES Data. The goal of SJES Data is to describe reusable datasets and to make reproducibility and generation of new insights with existing data as easy as possible. Contributions from economics and related fields are welcome.

About the collection

Swiss Journal of Economics and Statistics Data welcomes papers that: 

• Improve the visibility, reproducibility, and reuse of valuable scientific data.
• Include detailed descriptions of experimental, observational, computational, or curated data and link to publicly archived datasets.
• Papers should not include hypothesis testing or analysis aimed at new scientific knowledge arising from this dataset. 

Acceptance Criteria: Completeness and clarity of data description, value and potential of data reuse, clear description of data generation procedures.

Before submitting your manuscript, please ensure you have read our submission guidelines. Articles for this Collection should be submitted via our submission system. During the submission you will be asked (on the ‘additional information’ step) whether you are submitting your manuscript to a ‘Thematic Series’, please select ‘yes’ and you will then be able to select "SJES Data" from the drop down list.

Articles will undergo the journal’s standard peer-review process and are subject to all of the journal’s standard policies. Articles will be added to the Collection as they are published.

The Guest Editors have no competing interests with the submissions which they handle through the peer review process. The peer review of any submissions for which the Guest Editors have competing interests is handled by another Editorial Board Member who has no competing interests.
